OMD2 Day 26: Outdoors

Hello my lovelies,

The 26th challenge of the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge is to create a design inspired by nature. Or at least that's how I interpret it. To be honest the name of the challenge is very confusing: "Outdoors". It could mean anything from painting a flower to drawing buildings and skyscrapers.

Anyway, I decided to go with a clear summer's sky. You can't go wrong with that =D. I drew some birds and a tree and the sun. It looks very cartoony and that's what I was going for, so I'm pretty happy with the finished design. Here it is: ^_^

OMD2 Day 15: Abstract

Hi ^_^,

Here is another nail art for the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. The 8th day you had to create an abstract nail design. This was one of my favorite challenges to do! I love doing abstract art and to create strange designs. I went for a really colourful and delicate design, I don't know what it was really inspired by, but I think it turned out pretty well. Here are some pictures: ^_^

OMD2 Day 28: Bridal

Hiii,

This is going to be another really quick post. This is my nail design for the 28th challenge of the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. On the 28th day of July (or on a different date like me) you have to create a bridal nail art design. This was really difficult to think up, just because I'm a teenager and I don't really know what the "ideal" nail art for a wedding is. But basically I figured it had to be something white, elegant and delicate and I tried to create just that.

Now, unfortunately, my lighting wasn't very good, because I finished the nail art very late, but I think it shows my main idea. I hope you like it: ^_^

OMD2 Day 23:Negative Space

Hey,

So, I hadn't ever heard of the term "negative space" in the world of nail art. That's why when I read this challenge the first thing I did was google the meaning and this is what I found: a negative space nail art is a design which shows a part of your real nail. Now, I don't know what you think about these designs, but I'm not too crazy about them. I decided to do a clean and simple design using striping tape and my favorite purple polish.

Here is how it turned out. Unfortunately my purple polish is a little hard to remove, so there may be some colouring around my nail, but I just couldn't get it out straight away:

OMD2 Day 25: Roses

Hi everyone,

Yes, this is another post for the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. There are only a few more days to go and after that I will be able to do more diverse posts.

This challenge was to create a design with roses. I haven't ever done roses, so this was very new to me. I tried it out with the traditional way of drawing roses and I wasn't pleased with the outcome, so I ended up with a different, but in my opinion pretty cute design. I really hope you like it:

OMD2 Day 21: Animal Print

Hey,

Now I'm going to show you my nail design for the 21st challenge of the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. It's animal print. I went for one of the boldest ones: the zebra print. I'm not much of an animal print person, but I have to admit that this design turned our pretty well and I would definitely try it again. I did a matte coat over the white polish before I added the stripes- I thought that it would make the black pop.

Here are a few shots:

OMD2 Day 18: Dotticure

Hi beauties,

This post is for another challenge for the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. It's a dotticure (a.k.a. design with a dotting tool). I know my rainbow nail art could have passed for a dotticure, but I don't think that you can use the same design for two challenges, so I decided to create this really pretty abstract design.

I'm going to stop explaining and just show you some photos: =D

OMD2: Day 11: Rainbow

Hi beauties,

This is another nail art I've done for the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" challenge. I have made a post, dedicated to explaining what this challenge is all about and if you have visited my site over the past few days you will notice I have done a lot of these posts. I have pitures for a lot more daily challenges and I will try my best to upload them before the deadline of the challenge is over.

So, the 11th challenge was to create a design on your nails, inspired by a rainbow. Initially, I was going to go for a rainbow ombre design, but I decided to do something different and more fun, so I grabbed my dotting tool and created this super adorable dotticure (manicure with a dotting tool). I really hope you like it:

OMD2: Day 24: Fruit

Hii,

I know I've skipped a few days (20 to be exact =D) but I decided to post this design first. I had so much fun creating this cute cherry print on my nails and I really hope you like it. This is the challenge for the "Oh Mon Diew Part Duox" nail art challenge. I have a lot more nail art designs that I have done for this challenge and I will post them in the next 5-6 days, so definitely stay tuned.

Here are some pictures of the finished design:

OMD2 Day Two: Coral

Hi everyone,

This is my nail art design for Day Two of the "Oh Mon Dieu Part Deux" nail art challenge. You can click here to see what this challenge is about. For the second day challenge I had to create a design using a bright corl polish. I was having a little trouble figuring out exactly what to do, but finally I decided to go with a butterfly wing design. On the picture the polish looks a bit more red than it really is, but I promise you it is a coral polish. ^_^ Here are some pictures of the finished design:

OMD2 Day Four: Bright

Hi everyone,

This is my nail art design for Day Four of the "Oh Mon Dieu Part Deux" nail art challenge. You can click here to see what this challenge is about. So this challenge involves creating a nail design using bright colours. I really wanted to try something new and different, so I went for water marble. To be honest, this is the first water marble design I have ever done and I know it's not perfect, but I think it turned out really pretty. I used three polishes: a white for the base and a bright yellow and a bright purple for the design. Here is how it turned out: ^_^

If you want me to do a step-by-step tutorial on creating water marble nail art, please comment below and let me know. Also, tell me what you think of this design and the colour ombination in the comments.

OMD2 Day Three: Lavender

Hi everyone,

This is my nail art design for Day Three of the "Oh Mon Dieu Part Deux" nail art challenge. You can click here to see what this challenge is about. This challenge involved creating a design, using a lavender colour nail polish. I went for something a little abstract using only two polishes: one lavender and one dark purple. I am really pleased with the way it turned out and I think it's a really eye-catching design. Here are some pictures:

If you want me to do a step-by-step tutorial for this design let me know in the comments. Also, don't orget to tell me what you think.

OMD2 Day One: Mint

Hi everyone,

This is my nail art design for Day One of the "Oh Mon Dieu Part Deux" nail art challenge. You can click here to see what this challenge is about. The first day is a design, using a mint polish. I was really excited, because mint polishes are really really cute. I created this delicate nail art, using only two polishes (one of which is minty) and a needle. It recreated falling leaves. Here is how it looks:

If you want to see a step-by-step tutorial, please, comment below and let me know. Also, I would like to know what you think about the finished design.

OMD2 Nail Art Challenge

Hi everyone,

I have been doing a lot of nail art this past month, because I was really excited about this super awesome challenge I actually found on Pinterest. It's called "Oh Mon Dieu Part Deux" and you can see the site with the description of the challenge here. I have been doing the days of nail art, but I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted to upload them on my blog. Today I decided that it would be cool to see my recreations, so I will post pictures of my finished designs along with the description of the challenge. I have done them very messy, so they won't be according to the day, but in the rules of the contest they didn't have to be. Here are all the designs in this challenge:

I hope you like my recreations. If you want to see a step-by-step tutorial for one them comment and let me know. Love u <3

Nail It: Elegant Nail Art With... Striping Tape!?!

Hey everyone,

So, I got a request to do a nail art design only using striping tape. Of course I immediately agreed, because striping tape is super fun to work with. You need only one roll of striping tape n it doesn't matter what color it is, since we're going to peel it off.

Colorwise I went with purples and pinks. Here is how the finished design looks: ^_^

See how you can create this beautiful nail art on your nails:

Nail It: Sunflower Nail Art !?!

Hii,

Today I have a very interesting nail design for you. It's really beautiful and eye-catching, but it involves some work. The sunflowers weren't as easy to make as I initially thought. But with a bit of practice and a lot of patience you will be able to create the perfect sunflowers on your nails.

Here is the finished design. My flowers aren't "perfect", but they don't need to be as long as you are pleased with the results ^_^:

Nail It: Cupcake Nail Art?!?!

Hi beauties,

A few days ago I made a batch of chocolate cupcakes and they looked so cute that I decided to recreate the delicious treats on my nails. Unfortunately the cupcakes were gone by the time I finished my design and I forgot to take a picture of them to show you. They were very tasty though ^_^. Here is a photo of the finished design:

Now let's get started:

Nail It: Mix & Match Nautical Nail Art

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since my last Nail It post. I have noticed that these posts are the most appreciated and the most viewed so I'm going to try to make more of them. With summer already here I decided to do a design, perfect for the sunny days. It's inspired by the sea and incorporates a very popular trend for this summer- the nautical look.

So, let's get started with this super cute design!
