2Ferocious and Other News

Hi everyone,

I want to start by saying that I am very sorry for not being able to post for a while now. I don't have a satisfactory excuse because I was just too tired and lazy to write... =D However, I have had my break and now I am ready to start again and I am working on some really interesting and fun posts which I think you will enjoy.

Secondly, as you may have noticed already I decided to change the name of my blog. I liked my previous name, but I felt like it restricted me from writing about anything not related to beauty. And don't get me wrong, I loooove beauty and fashion it's just that sometimes I don't feel like writing about products or thinking of new "tutorials". Sometimes I just feel like writing a random post like this one. A few people have asked me why I chose this name "2Ferocious" and they want to know what it means. There is a funny story behind it, but the main reason I chose this name is because I felt like it gave me more freedom to write and it was also something more unexprected and different.

Another thing that I wanted to tell all of you is that I have created an e-mail on which you can contact me and ask me anything you want. Unfortunately, I created it before I came up with the new name, but for now I am not going to change it. It's teenbeautyzone@abv.bg . I will be happy to answer all your letters so don't feel shy.

I guess this was all I had to update you guys about. Stay tooned for more beauty and other posts soon. The first one will be on 1st August.

Top 5 Lip Products

Hi everyone,

    Today I am going to show you my "TOP 5" lip products that I have been loving for this season. I will try to make this post brief and quick to read, but I will show you the products and give you a detailed descriptions. I will also tell you why I like them so much and why I am obsessed with them.

I. AVON's tri-lip gloss in the shade onyx lustre

     I have mentioned this product before in my "Perfect Red Lips" post. This is by far my favorite red lip gloss. It has three parts: a dark red, a black and a light beige. When I first got it I was not sure how it was going to look because of the black, but immediately after I put it on my lips I fell in love with it. The three lip glosses mix perfectly and create this amazing dark red colour that looks increadible. Another thing that I really like is that it is not sticky at all and it doesn't leave you with the very upleasant feeling that other lip glosses do. Also, it has a very yummy smell (like chocolate or something similar) and the brush allows you to evenly put it on, be more precice and not get it all over your face :D.

Fashion Trends: Summer 2013

Hi everyone,

     So, I am fully aware that this is a beauty blog but I decided to add some fashion in.... =]
     Today, I am going to share with you the biggest trends that I have noticed during fashion shows lately. I know it's already the middle of summer, but I figured it is better late than never.

I. Stripes

Without a doubt stripes are huge this season and they can be seen in some of the most famous fashion brands: Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, etc. You can wear them in any colour and you can combine them however you choose. This trend is here to stay for the whole summer. If you want to incorporate this trend into your current style without it being overwhelming then I would suggest going with separate pieces instead a whole striped outfit. This way you will look trendy and fashionable but still casual. This way you will feel more comfortable and confident.

II. Bold Graphics

This is something I have noticed in most fashion shows I have watched. This trend includes everything from bold statement graphics to just a combination of bright colours and shapes. It is definitely something fresh and noticeable and will make heads turn.

III. Black & White

If you don't feel comfortable wearing bright even neon colours, then you can never go wrong with black and white. Everything in the grayscale is in this summer and even though it is not as fun and playful as the statement graphics it is by far more elegant and sophisticated. If you still, however, want to tone it down and wear it without making it feel too much, then you can just include some colour by adding some fun accessories.

IV. Florals

Do I even need to comment here. Florals have been in for such a long time that it's not even slightly surprising that they are in fashion for this summer as well. I don't see why not, though. I mean they are fun, feminine and they can always add something more to your outfit. This is by far my favorite trend of all times and I looove incorporating florals into my outfits. Sometimes just something as small as a floral headband or bracelet can make a huge difference.

       So, these are my favorite trends for this season. I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what your favorite fashion trends for Summer 2013 are.

The Ferocious Critic: Clean & Clear blackhead clearing cleanser - Review

Hi everyone,

       I thought I would share with you my opinion of the Clean & Clear blackhead clearing cleanser. It's the middle of summer and it's really really hot. During this time many girls have trouble maintaining their skin smooth and without any breakouts. I can say from experience that it is always difficult, sometimes even impossible to maintain a flawless skin. This involves everyday care and with most people water does't work. This is why most teenage girls buy skincare products. However, not everything on the market is as good as it is sold to be. This is why many girls (and their mothers) may feel reserved when having to make a choice.
        I haven't tried every product out there, but I can tell you for sure that Clean & Clear's cleanser is definitely worth the investment. Now, I think that there were more than one type, but I have only tried one of them- the blackhead clearing one.

     I do not guarantee about the others, but I can honestly say that this cleanser is a lifesaver. It has salicylic acid, so I don't recommend using it everyday (especially if you have dry skin) because it may cause irritation. It hasn't happened to me, but you can never know. I did not believe it when it said "results from day 1" but have gone through 2 bottles and everytime I use it I am immensely surprised to find my skin looking and feeling better than ever. I have oily skin and it just takes away the exact amount of oil and leaves my skin fresh and renewed. I use it 3-5 times a week and it really helps maintain the oiliness and also controls the breakouts. If I have a breakout I will use this product everyday on the problem area and in a few days the problem will have disappeared.
      On the whole, I think that the Clean & Clear blackhead clearing cleanser is an amazing product and I would definitely recommend it to all my readers. Here is why:
1. It is affordable and does the same (if not a better) job than skincare products which are more expensive.
2. It removes the excess oil from your skin and leaves you with a fresh and clean face.
3. It has an amazing effect on blackheads and any other breakouts because it "dries them out" and they don't get irritated or infected.
4. Used regularly it really helps maintain a flawless skin that every girl dreams of.

       So this is my opinion of the Clean & Clear blackhead clearing cleanser. Hope you found it useful :) Tell me what are your favorite skincare products for the summer.

Makeup your mind: The Perfect Red Lips

Hi everyone,

        For my first beauty post I decided to show you how to create the perfect red lips for summer. I know that many girls feel embarrassed to wear a bold colour on their lips during the school year (myself included), but during the summer you are free to rock that bold lipstick and go wild with all sorts of different colours. However, today I am focusing on RED. I am going to show you how to easily create "The Perfect Red Lips" that everyone will be talking about for days.
          Before I get into it I would like to apologise for the quality of some of the pictures but I did the photos in a rush and I didn't really have time to set the lighting, etc. I will try to make it better next time. So, let's get started.....

I. Products- These are the products I used to create my red lips, but you can use whatever similar products you have at home.
1. AVON Care Protecting Lip Balm with Shea Butter and Almond Oil
2. Golden Rose Lipliner No. 228
3. This is a set of lipsticks which I got at a local store mainly because I thought that their packaging was super cute (when it closes it looks like a strawberry). But you basically just need a bright red lipstick.
4. Golden Rose Liquid Concealer No. 01
5. Optional: AVON tri-lip gloss in the shade "Onyx Lustre"

Again, you don't have to use the same products I have used. You just have to find:
  - a lipbalm that you like;
  - a lipliner in a red shade (it could be darker than mine);
  - any red lipstick (preferably red);
  - a concealer in your shade;
  - a dark red lipgloss;

II. Steps: Here are the four steps in photos (again I apologise for the bad quality) and I am quickly going to explain what each one means:

1. So, the first thing you have to do is to prepare your lips by applying lipbalm. This way they will be soft and the colour will go on more evenly and easily.
2. The second thing you have to do is line your lips with a red lipliner. Here you can also reshape your lips: making them bigger or smaller, depending on what you want to achieve in the end. After you have lined them, go ahead and fill them in evenly.
3. Now comes the main part. With a lipbrush, or if you feel confident straight with the lipstick, start applying you red lipstick. Mine is buildable, so I decided to stop when I felt comfortable with the colour - you should do the same. If you want you can go all the way with an even brighter lip- it's a matter of choice.
4. After you have got your lips in the colour that you want them to, take a concealer (preferably liquid) and go around the edges of your lips to erase any excess lip products. Blend any harsh lines carefully. If you want you can add some dark red lipgloss in the centre of your lips. It will give more depth and definition to your lips while taking away the dry feel of the lipstick.

     Well, this is how easy it is to create "The Perfect Red Lips". I hope you liked it and if try out this look, please leave a coment and share your recreations.

Introduction into beauty....

Hi everyone,

         My name is Hrisi and this is my new blog. I have tried to create a blog a few times already but I haven't been able to find a topic which I find interesting enough to post regularly on. But I think that this time I hit the jackpot. Beauty is something that I have secretly been obsessed with for a long time and it took me quite some time to realize it. I can't tell you how excited I am to show you my beauty tips and ideas. I also look forward to feedback from everybody who comes across my blog and likes my posts.

        Look out for my first official beauty post soon...
